_· In 1971, twelve doctors and journalists set up an organisation named Médecins Sans Frontières, in order to remain neutral, impartial and independent from political restraints and harness the right of all humans for medical aid. Today there are teams of doctors without borders practicing in around 60 countries worldwide. In 1999, their work was honored with the Nobel Prize for Peace. And we are happy to share a second jubilee with them: For ten years now, Moniteurs is responsible for the representative image of their german operating branch office. The therefor developed corporate design was selected for the CDP Award.
_· Moniteurs developed an individual orientation system, with the concept “type and material”, for the Aufbau Haus at Moritzplatz. In June, the two main tenants, “Aufbau-Verlag” and “Modulor”, with its adjacent “Planets”, as well as galleries, designers and photographers will move into the building. The signage system structures the around 19.000 sqm house. Allowing a diversity of over forty creatives, to each come to its full advantage. Cut out name lines and seemingly three dimensional symbols will give the Aufbau Haus its own identity.
