Information and Orientation

_. Moniteurs newly developed the road access signage for visitors and employees’ in collaboration with the Helmholtz-Centre landscape architects. The aim was to combine within the design of the freestanding signs, the thematic of the Helmholtz-Centre with its surrounding, not only as a means of information but as a tool for image amplifying communication. Waves are used manifold to visually describe mag-netic and energy fields, light velocity, etc., thematic of the Helmholtz-Centre. We applied this wave-symbol in the shape of the freestanding signs and in the garden-architecture and connected it to form one unity. These waves appear in the visual eye, when looking at the freestanding signs, the boxwood trees and the benches.
