Wayfinding for Magdeburg City hall
Moniteurs designed the wayfinding system for the Magdeburg City Hall, which was built in 1927. This significant brick building was rebuilt between 1957 and 1966 after suffering severe war damage and has served as a central venue ever since. The architectural firm gmp International was commissioned to renovate and restore the façades and optimise the building’s use. Moniteurs drew inspiration for the design from the original typography.
