On April 13 in 2017, the In­ter­na­tional Gar­den Ex­hi­bi­tion opened in Berlin! The new vis­i­tor cen­tre wel­comes vis­i­tors with an ex­hi­bi­tion about the Gar­dens of the World. Moni­teurs, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Su­sanne Ya­coub, won the com­pe­ti­tion and re­alised the pro­ject, from the ini­tial con­cept to the de­sign of the ex­hi­bi­tion. Like an is­land in the river, the ex­hi­bi­tion sculp­ture pre­sents the wide themes of the ten tra­di­tional gar­dens and the nine In­ter­na­tional Con­tem­po­rary Gar­den Cab­i­nets.

After the cessation of flight operations, the Tegel Airport site and the buildings located on it will be handed over to the property owners (Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben, Land Berlin). In this context, the state of Berlin commissioned Tegel Projekt GmbH in August 2011 to manage the state-owned land and buildings and to develop a research and industrial park "Berlin TXL - The Urban Tech Republic".

In the sense of an ecologically, economically and socially demanding development of living space, the research and industrial park is to be developed into a new "hotspot" of the industrial city of Berlin. A unique place for innovation will be created: research-strong universities, globally active high-tech companies and imaginative founders will find the space they need for the development of tomorrow's urban technologies around the nucleus of the former terminal building.

The official tourist route guidance system of Berlin is to be extended. Moniteurs and the office PSY:PLAN were commissioned by the city of Berlin to conduct a comparative study. The aim was to analyze the tourist route guidance systems of ten major cities and to examine the extent to which the contents and concepts of other systems can be transferred to a guidance system in Berlin. The cities studied were Dresden, Potsdam, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Bristol, London, New York, Sydney, Vienna and Zurich.

A component of the comparison is the analysis and evaluation with the handling of the low barrier and inclusive requirement.

A competition was launched in the second half of 2016 to design the additional element of the information system.

With a to­tal area of 300,000 sqm, the listed Air­port Tem­pel­hof build­ing is still one of the largest build­ings in the world. Since it has been closed to air traf­fic in 2009, the build­ing is hous­ing of­fices and event spaces. In 2013, Moni­teurs drew up the con­cept for an over­ar­ch­ing guid­ance and ori­en­ta­tion sys­tem for the ex­te­rior, in­clud­ing the air­field. The plan­ning for the air­port build­ing was im­ple­mented in 2016. The sign fam­ily is sim­ple and ro­bust and in­te­grates well into the pub­lic space. The ex­tremely com­plex ter­rain and ac­cess to it were clearly struc­tured and in­for­ma­tion hi­er­ar­chies were de­vel­oped.
